CUT, ETCH AND MORE
With the almost limitless applications for use in cutting, the waterjet also is useful for etching or scribing part numbers and logos in parts. Below, we took what used to be a whole other operation, and now etch the part number into the material while we are cutting the holes and ends. This allows us to save time and not have an operator tied up stamping part numbers into pieces by hand.
We also were able to use the scribe feature on our waterjet to scribe our logo into the stainless steel guards that we made for our waterjet machine. As you can see below, it shows up quite nicely.
